TCICS depends on dedicated volunteers to support its cultural festivals, senior programs, youth initiatives, community services, public events, and day-to-day organizational activities.

Volunteering with TCICS is an opportunity to serve the community, meet new people, gain Canadian volunteer experience, build practical skills, and contribute to one of the most active Iranian-Canadian cultural organizations in the Tri-Cities.

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers may support TCICS in different areas depending on their interests, availability, and experience.

Event Support Registration, guest assistance, site support, information desk, and event operations.
Stage & Programs Performer coordination, program support, schedule assistance, and backstage support.
Media & Social Media Photography, video, content support, public communication, and event promotion.
Senior & Family Programs Support for seniors, families, workshops, community classes, and social programs.
Youth Initiatives Youth activities, innovation programs, cultural activities, and student engagement.
Vendor & Sponsor Support Vendor coordination, booth support, sponsor hospitality, and partner communication.
Administration Office support, data entry, documentation, follow-up, and general coordination.
Community Outreach Public engagement, newcomer support, community navigation, and local partnerships.

Volunteer Certificate

Eligible volunteers may receive an official TCICS Volunteer Certificate recognizing their contribution and service to the Society.

This certificate may support your resume, community-service record, school or university volunteer requirements, and Canadian work-experience profile. Certificate eligibility depends on participation, completed volunteer hours, assigned duties, and confirmation by TCICS.
