TCICS connects culture, community support, civic engagement, and collaborative leadership to strengthen the Iranian-Canadian community in the Tri-Cities and beyond.
Vision
TCICS envisions a vibrant, inclusive, and empowered Iranian-Canadian community in the Tri-Cities—one that celebrates Iranian heritage, contributes meaningfully to Canadian civic and social life, supports newcomers and families, fosters intergenerational connection, and advances community well-being through culture, service, public engagement, education, and collaborative leadership.
Mission
The Tri-City Iranian Cultural Society (TCICS) is a non-profit, non-partisan, and non-religious organization dedicated to strengthening the Iranian-Canadian community in the Tri-Cities and beyond. We do this by promoting Iranian arts, culture, heritage, and community celebrations; delivering inclusive community programs and services; supporting newcomers, families, youth, and seniors; encouraging civic participation, public dialogue, and community leadership; building strong relationships with public institutions and community partners; and advancing social connection, volunteerism, wellness, and collective capacity for the benefit of both the Iranian-Canadian community and the wider society.
Strategic Purpose
TCICS exists to serve as a trusted community platform that connects culture, community support, civic engagement, and organizational development. Through its programs, departments, and partnerships, TCICS works to create belonging, strengthen representation, support settlement and well-being, develop sustainable community capacity, and promote constructive engagement between Iranian Canadians and the broader Canadian society.
Community Role Statement
TCICS serves as a cultural, social, civic, and community-development hub for Iranian Canadians in the Tri-Cities. It acts as a bridge between community members and the broader Canadian society by facilitating inclusion, mutual understanding, public engagement, and access to programs, resources, and collaborative opportunities.

Preserve and promote Iranian culture and heritage through festivals, public events, arts, education, and intergenerational programming.
Belonging & Cohesion
Strengthen community belonging and social cohesion by creating inclusive spaces for connection, participation, and volunteer engagement.
Newcomer & Family Support
Support newcomers and families through settlement-oriented guidance, community navigation, and practical support initiatives.
Empowerment
Empower youth, women, seniors, artists, and community members through educational, creative, and leadership opportunities.
Civic Engagement
Advance civic engagement and public participation by encouraging informed dialogue, democratic values, community representation, and responsible engagement with public institutions.
Public Visibility
Promote public communication and visibility through media, social media, public relations, and community storytelling.
Sustainability
Build organizational sustainability through fundraising, grants, sponsorship, partnerships, and responsible financial stewardship.

چشمانداز
انجمن فرهنگی ایرانیان ترایسیتیز جامعهای ایرانی-کانادایی، پویا، فراگیر و توانمند را در ترایسیتیز تصور میکند؛ جامعهای که میراث ایرانی را پاس میدارد، در زندگی مدنی و اجتماعی کانادا مشارکت مؤثر دارد، از تازهواردان و خانوادهها حمایت میکند، پیوند میان نسلها را تقویت مینماید و از طریق فرهنگ، خدمت، آموزش، مشارکت عمومی و رهبری جمعی به بهبود جامعه کمک میکند.
مأموریت
TCICS نهادی غیرانتفاعی، غیرحزبی و غیرمذهبی است که برای تقویت جامعه ایرانی-کانادایی در ترایسیتیز و فراتر از آن فعالیت میکند. این انجمن با ترویج هنر، فرهنگ، میراث و جشنهای ایرانی، اجرای برنامهها و خدمات اجتماعی فراگیر، حمایت از تازهواردان، خانوادهها، جوانان و سالمندان، تشویق مشارکت مدنی، گفتوگوی عمومی، رهبری اجتماعی و ایجاد همکاری با نهادها و شرکای اجتماعی، در مسیر تقویت ارتباط اجتماعی، داوطلبی، سلامت و ظرفیت جمعی فعالیت میکند.
