Diyar Persian School
Diyar Persian Language & Culture School
Diyar is a Persian as a Second Language program for children and youth, designed to help young learners build language skills, cultural confidence, and a meaningful connection to Iranian heritage.
A Strong Foundation in Persian Language and Iranian Culture
Diyar Persian Language & Culture School is created for children and youth who are growing up in Canada and learning Persian as a second language. The program provides a warm, structured, and age-appropriate environment where students can learn Persian while also becoming familiar with Iranian culture, traditions, stories, celebrations, music, poetry, and values.
The purpose of Diyar is not only to teach vocabulary and grammar. It is to help children feel connected to their heritage, communicate with family members, understand cultural traditions, and develop pride in their identity as Iranian-Canadians.
Through language lessons, storytelling, creative projects, songs, games, cultural activities, and community engagement, Diyar makes learning Persian meaningful, enjoyable, and relevant to the lives of young learners.
