Important Announcement: Free Shuttle Service with Support from TransLink
We extend our heartfelt thanks to TransLink for supporting the Nowruz Bazaar events and making transportation easier for attendees. A free shuttle service will be available between Coquitlam Central Station and Port Coquitlam Community Centre to facilitate your commute.
Shuttle Service Details:

- Coquitlam Central Station – Bay 13
- Port Coquitlam Station – Bay 6 (directly across from Port Coquitlam Community Centre)
⏰ Schedule:
- Departures from Coquitlam Central Station: Every hour from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Departures from Port Coquitlam
Station: Every half-hour from 10:30 AM to 5:30 PM
- Final departures from Port Coquitlam Station: 6:00 PM and 7:15 PM
Important Notes:
- This service is completely free; please do not tap your Compass Card or credit card for payment.
- The bus will display “Special” instead of a route number.
- If you are driving, we encourage you to park your vehicle at the Park & Ride lot at Coquitlam Central Station and take the free shuttle, as parking at Port Coquitlam Community Centre will be limited.

Event Introduction
The Tri-City Iranian Cultural Society (TCICS) is proud to announce the annual Nowruz Bazaar, continuing our tradition of celebrating the Persian New Year with our community. This event aims to facilitate the preparation of Nowruz essentials for Iranian residents of Greater Vancouver, support Iranian businesses and artists, and provide a platform to promote and elevate their ventures while fostering meaningful connections with the broader community.
Our mission extends beyond commerce. We aim to honor Iran’s rich cultural heritage, preserve its ancient traditions, pass on the values and customs of Nowruz to younger generations of immigrants, and introduce this precious legacy to Canadian society. By all measures, this bazaar is one of the largest seasonal markets for Iranians in Canada, offering an unparalleled opportunity to showcase products and services to a vast and diverse audience.
The bazaar will feature dozens of businesses, producers, and local vendors and will be held on Saturday, March 15, and Sunday, March 16, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Port Coquitlam Community Centre (2150 Wilson Ave, Port Coquitlam, BC V3C 6J5). Thousands of attendees, both Iranian and non-Iranian, from across Greater Vancouver are expected to participate.
The event will also include live music from an experienced DJ, who will keep the atmosphere lively and joyful, along with a variety of exciting programs, including theatrical performances, contests, raffles, and prize giveaways.
Children’s Activities & Art and Culture Pavilion
A large section of the bazaar will be dedicated to children’s games and activities, creating a vibrant and engaging space for the younger generation.
This area will provide memorable experiences for second- and
third-generation children while allowing parents to enjoy the market freely.
The event also offers a unique opportunity for artists to connect with the Iranian-Canadian community. The specially designated Art and Culture Pavilion will feature exclusive facilities and a prominent platform to showcase high-quality artwork and sell valuable creations by Iranian artists.
